I used to do spatial audio research (HRTF-based) and I'd like to continue in this field as well as maybe VR. Does anybody know of any possible opportunities? Video game sound design seems to be a good area to look. nVidia used to have a program called Soundstorm which was advanced audio for their nForce chipsets but they closed it down.

for mac users, there used to be a program called "QTVR" and "SoundsaVR." they were built for mac classic and i haven't seen them for mac os x. awesome to see a company boast their product cause it is compatible with quicktime 3!

great program, you could wrap single flat images into a VR space and place sound nodes in this space that would pan left to right, and you could have hyperlinks as well. does anyone know of a program similar to this for mac os x?
